A multi-subject database good for middle school students. Browse by broad topics such cultures, geography, government, literature, people, science, social issues and US or world history, or specific topic. Also allows for basic and complex searching.
MultCoLib is permitting access to the Overdrive ebook collection by signing up with a cell phone number. This "digital library card" will be good for 6 months, beginning in March, 2020. Give it a try! There's thousands of books to check out on Overdrive.

A wonderful source of book reviews and author information for avid readers! Use this database to find out the sequence of titles published by an author, read reviews of an author's fiction or nonfiction works, and locate other authors with similar writing styles or plot elements.
The Open Library provides free access to hundreds of thousands of books and audiobooks, including many current titles. You need to register for free to use the library, and can borrow up to 10 books at a time. The audiobooks are read in an electronic voice, which is not ideal.
Swank is our new streaming video service for classroom use. Teachers and student groups may use Swank for on-campus classroom and events showings, and teachers may share a link to Swank films for students to watch from home.
